Walking with the creator of the Universe!

I just returned from a walk through the woods on this gorgeous day in Western NC. You know what I realized? If I truly believe that I am an adopted son of the creator of this entire universe, and everything in it, than what matters MORE than my relationship with Him? Absolutely nothing! Nothing at all! Not me, not my wife, not my closest friends and family… nothing at all… not even the one reading this post! I am created by God and my ONLY responsibility is to Him! And how do I know what He expects of me? By the Bible… the word of God. Don’t get me wrong, those things I mentioned above are most definitely important, but not MORE than God.
If I put all of who I am into my relationship with God than my attitude towards myself and my relationship with my wife and family and friends and strangers will be better than I can even imagine in this dark age.
So, YES I may be a lunatic to think that one book can guide me in the ways of God, but I DO! Go ahead, call me a lunatic… tell your friends I’m a damned fool, it doesn’t matter to me! But at the end of our days we will stand before a magnificent God who created this magnificent (overwhelming) universe and I will be answering for myself, not you nor vice versa.
Take a walk today, look around … and think about it!

LOL! Reading my 2 bold areas alone make for quite a hilarious blog article in and of themselves!
I can’t believe I did that… oh well, I’ll keep it, maybe it will give someone a much needed laugh.
