Ted Haggard … an interview at Elevation Church

God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Ted Haggard, an influential Christian leader, who was found guilty of sexual immorality and deception back in 2006 was interviewed at Elevation Church today. It is even mentioned in Wikipedia already as such near the bottom of the page…

Ted and Gayle Haggard both appear on the syndicated television show “Divorce Court”. The program is scheduled for broadcast April 1 – 2, 2009. On the program, Ted says he wanted his wife to divorce him after the scandal, saying that he thought he had become so “toxic” that divorce was best for Gayle and children. His wife refused the offer of divorce.[77] On April 26, 2009, Ted Haggard and his family appeared at Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina for an interview with Pastor Steven Furtick.

I assume that Elevation Church will make the video of the interview available sometime this week.

Also, I highly recommend adding the Elevation Church audio podcast to your collection. Hopefully they’ll be able to put their videos up as a video podcast. :)
