Love comes from God, not us.

With Thanksgiving Day only hours away for 2009 I was reminded that love comes from God and that He is Love, 1 John 4:16. With so many people traveling and having times with relatives and friends there may be times of tension, so remember to ask God to examine you now.

Oh Lord forgive us our ungrateful attitudes and thank you for everything I know.

Proverbs 26

24 Whoever hates disguises himself with his lips and harbors deceit in his heart; 25 when he speaks graciously, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart; 26 though his hatred be covered with deception, his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly. 27 Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling. 28 A lying tongue hates its victims, and a flattering mouth works ruin.
