Did you know that Judah came from Leah, not Rachel? http://ref.ly/Ge29.31-35
I knew that Christ came from the line of Judah, you know the lion of Judah, King David, but so often I have heard about Rachel and her firstborn Joseph that I never realized that Judah was Leah’s son, not Rachel’s. Rachel had Joseph and Benjamin.
Leah also had Levi, so are the levitical priests from this line as well?
Fascinating stuff!
