Free High Quality iTunes Visualizers
Posted on 12. Sep, 2009 by John in Everything, Music
The iTunes visualizer… I can’t imagine listening to my music without it. The same old same old gets, well,… old after a while, so the built-in Apple iTunes visualizer, though well done, needs to be changed up. In my hunting for a new free visualizer I stumbled upon this killer page.

Trust me you just need to go download these and try them out for yourself. I don’t think they work for the Microsoft Windows version of iTunes because they’re using [Quartz] which is an Apple only product/technology, but I’m not completely sure about all that, so if someone wants to set me straight feel free to do so in the comments. :)
My personal favorites are:
Snow
Bugaboo
Circle
LED Flow
Stream

Enjoy!

The only downfall to these VERY COOL visualizers is that they take up so much video memory that it starts to bring the OS transitions, like switching between spaces, into a choppy experience for my 13″ macbook pro with 4GB of ram.
