11.22.09 – Sabbath / The Path (Part 9) – Matt Chandler

Lord Jesus, teach us.
Open our ears to hear.

You created us to be image bearers and then gave us the mandate in Genesis 1.28. “Fill the earth and subdue it.”
Sin fractured this cultural mandate. We now are broken image bearers that no longer reflect God (the image).

We make other things our God because of this, then we shake our fists at God and say “why!”.
We are born with this broken image bearing.

Christ RESTORES this image bearing.

“I am a restored image bearer… I bear the image of God every where I go.”
Everyone has a soul. EVERYONE.
